This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

UBARS needs volunteer educators and prisoners' education advocates to donate their time and resources to building this new institution. We are asking educators to teach classes they would normally teach at their school, translated into a shorter correspondence-type curriculum for prisoners. Contact RAIL for more information and ways to get involved!

Anti-Censorship Postcard Campaign
In 1999 we began using postcards to protest censorship in prisons while doing education work
on the streets. While the response from prisons has been mixed with a few successes, the benefits to our
organizing has been great.
