Botha croaks, nothing changes


This fascist has got a clot in his brain on January 18, but 
the racist regime in South Africa goes on, business as usual.  
Constructive engagement and U.S. demand for South African 
minerals have worked well to keep the system runing.  
Similarly, U.S. support for the South African created 
insurgent groups in the front line states is strong as ever.  
Witness U.S. funding for Savimbi, et al.

Botha is still technically president, but his stroke forced 
him to resign as National Party leader.



Ferdinand Marcos Chokes on Pinapple

Finally contracting pneumonia and bronchial asthma and 
receiving a tracheostomy on February 1, its time to bid 
Freddie a fond fuck you.  MCø hopes that he dies in a pain 
equal to the total suffering of the Philipino masses, not that 
that is possible.

Least anyone have sympathy for the old fart, remember that he 
is out on $5 million dollars bail from federal court and will 
likely never have to go to trial (New York Times 2/2/89, p.7).
