MIM Notes 186 May 15 1999 Education is fundamental I greet you with peace and blessings. I am in receipt of MIM Theory number 10 (1996) that you sent me the other day. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but will as soon as possible. You know I was thinking about how so many of us minorities here in the United Snakes mainly Blacks and Latinos are so caught up in the material world and have absolutely no idea that they are being oppressed and systematically annihilated. We are so busy trying to play catch up and mimic the bourgeoisie while they sit back unseen planning our destruction. People are so oppressed that they don't even realize that there oppressed. An oppressed mind is the most potent tool of the oppressor. That is why I feel before we can have a revolution on a political level we must first have a revolution of the mind. The literature that I receive from you definitely has helped me to enlighten others to the nature of our oppression. There's just so many brothers still in the clutches of the material world which has been laid out purposely before us the way that it is. This is why the bourgeoisie keeps the masses away from there social equality, it is the science of how they rule the world. When will people wake up and realize that there is no catching up. This present system (capitalism) wasn't designed so that the proletariat could catch up. But as we know any thinking man made can be "destroyed". And Capital Imperialism are man made systems which can be and must be destroyed by any means. For it is the only way. A revolution is most definitely needed, but education into the struggle that we face is the most fundamental. Your newspapers and literature is definitely a good source of education. I have been doing my duty to spread the message to others who I see has a great deal of potential to become revolutionaries. I will read this MIM Theory as soon as i get a chance. In struggle, -- a prisoner in the east February 1999.
