The white vote is no myth

The U.$. campaign for president shows the candidates in full swing 
pandering for the white vote. Now that he has lost his bid for the 
Republican Party nomination for president, Arizona Senator John 
McCain has said he is sorry he did not oppose the Confederate 
flag's flying in South Carolina. The state is embroiled in a 
controversy about how to get the flag down from flying above the 
state capitol.

McCain said, "I feared that if I answered honestly I could not win 
the South Carolina primary, so I chose to compromise my 
principles. I broke my promise to always tell the truth."(1) MIM 
thanks McCain for explaining the basic idea of opportunism, with 
an example from his own past.

V. I. Lenin instructed that a vanguard party is necessary to tell 
the truth, because politicians come under pressure to compromise 
and fudge. The party tells the scientific truth, no matter how 
unpopular in certain contexts amongst the masses; although the 
party does not necessarily tell the enemy the truth. If no one 
tells the masses the political truth, there is no way for history 
to go forward.

MIM would say McCain is correct: he could not win the primary by 
opposing white supremacy and the history of slavery that the 
Confederate flag represents in U.$. history. That is the truth 
about politics in the United $tates.

White nation domination is still favored in politics. The 
Republican nominee George W. Bush favored to win the U.$. election 
in polls right now still has yet to retract his position in 
support of whatever the people of South Carolina choose to do with 
the Confederate flag.

The wild and supposedly radical thing that some people in South 
Carolina want to do is put the Confederate flag over a military 
cemetery instead. MIM would ban the flag from flying anywhere and 
we believe its appearance on everything from license plates to 
state capitol buildings continues to say something about the 
United $tates, beyond the fact that a large portion of the cracker 
population does not know the South did not win the Civil War. A 
couple generations of proletarian dictatorship could have changed 
attitudes and raised children correctly, but the year 2000 in 
South Carolina is proof of what happens when the dictatorship of 
the progressive class is not in power.

Foolish liberals say there is no such thing as "the white vote," 
but the choice in South Carolina as it presents itself is flying 
the Confederate flag in one state government location or another. 
That is all. It is a failing of so-called democracy, that the 
majority of whites believe they should determine the destinies of 
Blacks and also all Third World peoples. The fact that there are 
two parties contending for the white vote does not mean that both 
are not pandering to the white vote.

The conservatives are also hypocrites on this issue. As we go to 
press, the U.S. Senate is again going to vote on banning the right 
to burn the U.S. flag. The conservatives want to make burning the 
U.S. flag a crime, but they defend the right to fly the traitor 
flag of the Confederacy. Clearly they mean it is OK to be anti-
United States, but only to be more pro-white.

Interracial dating and the white vote

As with the Confederate flag issue, the ruling class is hand-
wringing over the question of interracial dating. Bob Jones 
University still banned interracial dating when George W. Bush 
spoke there February 2nd without opposing the University policy. 
On February 27, Bush changed his mind and came out against the 
anti-Catholic white leaders of the university who also ban 
interracial dating.(2)

Bush took the applause of his friends there without telling them 
their faults. That is a perfect example of opportunism -- 
overlooking the faults of friends instead of standing for 
principle and losing popularity. When he received criticism, he 
corrected himself again to win votes, but this time, the media 
whitewashed him and the university.

Supposedly Bush has corrected himself, and most of the media 
whitewashed Bob Jones University by reporting it dropped its 
policy banning interracial dating, but in fact, Bob Jones 
University continues to insist on receiving written permission 
from parents before inter-racial dating can occur in its modified 
policy!(3) It did not admit Black students till 1970 according to 
its president and 1975 according to the Los Angeles Times and it 
lost its tax-exemption later for continued discrimination. Reagan 
spoke there in 1980 and President Bush spoke there in 1988. It is 
considered a regular Republican bastion.(4)

When Bob Jones himself went on the Larry King television show, he 
started to mouth off about keeping "genetic" material separate and 
opposing "one world government." Apparently he believes that 
interracial dating is part of combining all countries and making 
"one world government" which is supposedly against the Bible 
according to Jones.

Police occupation in New York City

The occupation force known as the New York City police has always 
received multiple plaudits from district attorney turned mayor and 
now U.S. Senate candidate Rudolph Giuliani. Giuliani has spoken 
for police shootings of unarmed Black men. There is just no wrong 
that police can do in Giuliani's mind; yet he is still a serious 
candidate and will do well amongst whites. The only reason he 
draws any attention is that he has gone so far that people notice 
there is a difference between him and Hillary Clinton, the 
presumed Democratic candidate for Senate in New York in 2000. 
Otherwise, the Democrats have done nothing to stop police murders. 
It takes a pro-police nut like Giuliani for a difference of any 
sort to appear in political debate.

Candidate David Duke

It is important to remember that not all voters are white. Hence, 
the results of the white vote are sometimes covered up in general 
elections.

In Louisiana, a neo-Nazi leader named David Duke won the 
Republican nomination for governor in 1991. He also won 55% of all 
white votes cast in the Louisiana election for governor of the 
whole state.(5) He only lost because of the heavy Black vote 
against him. Hence, when fools praise U.$. democracy and deny the 
existence of a white vote, they are ignoring the cold facts.

The underlying commonality of the white vote is parasitism. There 
are different strategies of exploitation and oppression, but one 
thing we do not get from the parties catering to the white vote is 
a stance of principle against oppression and exploitation.
