Trans-gender persyn gets probation for sex-crime

The Massachusetts newspapers have carried an unusual sex crime case on the front 
pages for days. In a freak incident, police actually caught a trans-gender 
persyn trying to obtain sexual favors from a 12-year-old boy--so says the 
bourgeois press. Charles Horton pleaded guilty to kidnapping, attempted rape of 
a child, indecent assault and assault with a dangerous weapon on September 6.(1)
The attention to the case has resulted because the judge only gave Horton five 
years probation, including house arrest with leave for school, church and 
counseling. He will wear an ankle bracelet that reveals his location. 
From reading the papers, MIM Notes is not sure what to make of the judge's 
decision. We are concerned that this might be the case of a criminal who should 
be imprisoned or even shot but was let go by a judge with some liberal 
preoccupation in liberal hotbed Cambridge, Massachusetts. Fatuous liberals 
pretend that some cases of crime do not exist, especially by trans-gender 
people. These silly liberals substitute their notions about detailed individual 
cases for addressing the real causes of oppression in society, and thereby 
discredit real attempts at change.
Of course, Amerika's prison-happy, patriarchal police and prosecutors make it 
difficult to find the truth in a case like this. Fatuous conservatives believe 
everything police tell them as if police did not have a professional and 
sometimes political self-interest in appearing to be effective. The fact that 
police caught Charles Horton in the midst of the crime in a car is not the usual 
way that crime happens, and an extremely rare event at the very best.
Our suspicions about conservative fools increased when digging deeper behind the 
front page stories showed that the story of the 12-year-old boy being threatened 
with a screwdriver did not wash.(2) Even the grandmother who was attacking the 
judge Maria Lopez said the threat with the screwdriver was not part of her 
grandson's story. Tests on the "deadly weapon" in the case -- a screwdriver -- 
debunked the prosecutions general argument.
Reading further in the details, we learn that the criminal dressed very much 
like a biological womyn with a pink cowboy hat, high heels and feminine shirts. 
Boys lined up outside her house trying to get into her parties over the course 
of five years.(3) The critics of the criminal and the probation sentence thought 
they were criticizing her when they said that, instead of proving that she was 
somehow desirable to young boys. If boys lined up for the entertainment of 
Charles Horton, then it cannot be said there was no consent. It becomes strictly 
a question of "statutory rape" which is the patriarchal idea that teenagers 
cannot consent to sex.
There is indeed an issue whether 12 is too young. However, even on that issue, 
the mainstream commentators revealed their bias. Disgusted with having to 
explain what a trans-gender persyn is to someone 12 years old, some naivete-
promoting conservatives paint such children as all primal innocence. Yet while 
trying to criticize the judge, the children-as-innocents patriarch let it be 
known that the boy was sure that Charles Horton was a womyn. 
MIM is sure that young boys by the age of 12 have received brainwashing about 
sex. They would have been embarrassed to admit that they wanted sex with a man. 
Upon finding that Horton was originally a man, such boys would possibly avoid 
admitting consent. That is part of the twisted macho culture we live in that 
makes it more difficult to know the truth in cases like these.
MIM is in favor of seeing sex educated completed by the age of 12 and lowering 
the age of consent to 13. If these other adults had taken the same stance as 
MIM, then no one would have wondered what the 12-year-old boy knew when Horton 
came across his path.
It is unfortunate that it is not possible to receive information about child 
molesting or sexual assault without all kinds of lifestyle prejudices thrown in. 
On the surface, this seems to be an easy case, because police caught the 
criminal in the middle of the act and because there was a guilty plea.
On the other hand, the hysteria against alleged child molesters and the 
treatment of child molesters in prison can make even the accusation a death 
sentence. Hence, for Charles Horton to agree to charges including untrue things 
about a screwdriver is not surprising. Only in such a confession could he hope 
for lenience and not the mob passion of a jury.
Getting back to the critics of Horton's style of dressing: What Horton is really 
getting criticism for is a lifestyle outside the mainstream. At the time when 
Mike Tyson faced rape charges, the press were filled with his frank and direct 
approaches to wimmin in public: "do you want to fuck?" Such a star athlete 
normally has "groupies" offering him sex in public all the time in the U.$. 
culture, but Tyson did not keep a low profile and he scared too many people with 
his language, so he received criticisms that had no particular relevance to his 
rape trial. The fact that Mike Tyson used crude of unpopular language to ask for 
sex does not make him a rapist. Similarly, how Horton dresses has nothing to do 
with whether or not he raped a young boy.
The bourgeois press was in such a tizzy over this story that it could not report 
the details straight. According to the Boston Herald Horton is 22.(4) According 
to CNN, Horton is 32.(5)
Reactionary columnist Howie Carr was typical of the tizzy. He used it as an 
excuse to attack affirmative action, since Judge Lopez counted as a womyn and 
Hispanic when the governor promoted her. (6) Lopez fled the Cuban Revolution to 
the United $tates. She is the first appointed Hispanic judge in Massachusetts. 
MIM Notes is not surprised that she had to be a proven anti-communist to get the 
job.(7)
Meanwhile the judge is not allowed to release her side of the story. What she 
saw in the courtroom she believes is not supposed to be public record. According 
to law, anything involving a child cannot be explained in public.(1)
From MIM's point of view, it is very possible Lopez is doing the public a favor 
by withholding details that would amount to more pornography and embarrassment 
of the child. Under Maoism, trials occur under the leadership of the party, 
which allows for greater openness and public participation. Equally important is 
the culture built under Maoism which will not glorify news topics that are 
pornographic.
Cases like these will become rarer and rarer when socialism comes to power. 
There will be no embarrassment around sexual orientations that are not 
heterosexual and there will be fewer sex change operations for that reason; 
hence that source of confusion in society will be gone. Boys will not be afraid 
to say they felt attraction to other people and there will be no stigmatization 
of gays or the desire for sex with the opposite sex of the simplistic sort that 
happens with boys in school today. Children will have sex education and have a 
greater understanding of the adults older than them.
MIM Notes is also tired of coming across sensational cases like this one as if 
sexual abuse of very young children, younger than 12--did not happen in the home 
all the time. Rather than attack the patriarchy across the board, many seem to 
attack it only in the narrowest possible niche.
