Amerikan Satanism splits

Finally, after years of prodding by MIM, the Satanists considering 
themselves "Reds" have organized themselves and in so doing, ended 
up getting booted from the "Church of Satan." By early January, 
2001, the breakaway Satanists had compiled a list of their 
grievances with the Church of Satan.(1) Along the way to being 
kicked out, these Satanists ended up propagating what MIM had been 
telling them all along, that the Church of Satan tolerates 
fascism, because part of the CoS is fascist and part is tolerating 
fascism. Still, these "Reds" share many of the problems of 
Satanism, such as chauvinism, petty-bourgeois individualism, and 
pig behavior.

Satanic Reds

Two of the leaders of the Church of Satan so designated by 
Amerikan Satanism founder and Church of Satan founder Anton LaVey 
have now moved to form their own Satanic organization called the 
Satanic Reds.(5) In so doing, they have gone so far as to make 
favorable references to a faction of Satanists they used to 
oppose, the "Temple of Set."

The Satanic Reds Council says the following of its pro-labor 
aristocracy line: "Nowhere do we advocate armed revolution; 
nowhere do we advocate the working people taking over the means of 
production. We speak of the Bill of Rights and the New Deal. These 
are policies put into law by a capitalist president of the USA! 
Many of you readers come from countries where you already have all 
of this--and there are no Christian fascists or corporate despots 
trying to take it all away! Lucky you! So why do we call ourselves 
Reds? Because, to use the LaVeyan method here, or even to use 
Adversarial reasoning, once again the forces of reaction in the 
fascist Christian Coalition have made these absurd slanders 
against programs that benefited all hard-working people. They have 
many times called President F.D. Roosevelt a RED!"(2) This is the 
"Communist-Party"-USA line.

Yet while these supposed "reds" do not advocate armed revolution 
against the state, they do threaten non-government people with 
violence fairly regularly--kind words for the Democratic Party 
imperialists and violent threats to the people. It's a tell-tale 
sign of ultra-leftism not to know who the real enemy is and how it 
merges with F.D.R. far right opportunism of the "Communist Party"-
USA brand.

MIM has also noticed that one habit of Satanists of all stripes is 
to collect information on each other of a persynal nature and then 
reveal it in a spat, often with pictures. This stinking milieu is 
perfect for cops, rotten for anarchists and communists.

Satanism as individualism

Satanism as founded by LaVey is consciously anti-Christian, so 
much so that it is obvious that many if not most Satanists are 
reformed Christians trying to break out of their former life 
orbits. Unfortunately, Satanic Reds is no different. The only 
attractive thing about Satanism to MIM is that the average 
Satanist has a fairly good idea of what Christianity is 
philosophically and how it influences a persyn even trying to have 
secular thoughts.

Often describing themselves as "loners" these Satanists are 
decadent individualists, loving to have one-on-one fights and 
wasting time that could be used against the enemy. However, since 
the Satanists are merely a diversion from the proletarian road, 
they do not know what the real enemy is anyway.

The Archie Bunker line

This group in particular puts forward the Archie Bunker style of 
"communism." In its planks for joining the Satanic Reds list "Do 
you believe that the Multi-national corporations and Trans-
national corporations need to HIRE OUR OWN CITIZENS and not wander 
outside for cheap labor (who are like SCABS in Union talk)?"(3)

This is the crux of the "Satanic Reds's" white nationalism. Real 
communists work for the self-interests of the proletariat of one 
country without damaging the interests of proletarians in other 
countries and leading the world toward more war. Instead what 
Satanic Reds has done is appeal to the labor aristocracy within 
U.$. borders to protect the jobs it feels it owns. The reason for 
that is simple--these people are not proletarians, are not people 
with nothing to lose but their chains. These are people who know 
instinctively that they are getting super-profits from monopoly 
capitalism. That is why super-profits do not receive any mention 
in their platform.

Real communists are not for closing the borders and preventing the 
hiring of proletarians from other countries, because real 
communists fight for an international minimum wage, international 
work week, international child labor laws and international work 
condition regulations, including those on worker safety, health 
and pollution. Only social-democrats and national socialists fight 
for closing borders, immigration quotas and restriction of 
multinational corporations to hiring in their own base countries, 
because they are willing to go along with nationalism and war for 
their self-interests.

MIM work

Recently, some of the Satanists have tried to pass themselves off 
as worked out in the same way as MIM. They like to quote from MIM 
without giving attribution. Most recently they took MIM's review 
of ITAL Hitler's Pope END and removed MIM's author and conclusions 
so as to remove mention of MIM. Then they lie and say the author 
is "unknown," all the while insisting "Copyright July 1, 2000 by 
ALL PERSONS WHO COOPERATED JOINTLY IN MAKING THIS READABLE AND 
AVAILABLE. None of the contents contained in here may be copied 
without permission of the individual writers of each document."

We are not much concerned with Satanists outside of prison, but in 
prison, we would like to inform the comrades that Satanists are 
not very serious. While they may appear to be anti-authority, CoS 
variety Satanists and their break-aways openly call the cops both 
local and federal all the time, and proudly and openly do so, as 
if the state were already some kind of Soviet system. Not only is 
there not really much of any intellectual substance there, once 
one gets beyond the allure of pentagrams, baphomets etc., 
association with Satanism is association with the state.
