In response to the MIM article "Bay Area rally 
opposes u.s. militarism and anti-Arab attacks" one 
reader wrote to us:

I've been looking for people who share my 
sentiments with this "attack on America" thing. 
It's clearly not an attack on freedom and 
democracy, as the media loves to hype it up as. 
This is a clear attack on U.S. imperialistic 
corporate policy and capitalism, our fastest 
world-wide spreading disease (thanks to, of 
course, the United States).  I'm horrified.  This 
recent incident is only going to lead to approved 
U.S. racism and militarism.  I was unable to 
attend the rally.  Is anything else going on 
anytime soon?  Also, where would I go to find 
folks sharing my sentiments?  My brother hung up 
on me earlier and used "You live in Berkeley" as 
an insult, not realizing that patriotism, 
borderline racism, is brooding here as well.  Let 
me know, please.
