OK, so you are tired of revolutionary music reviewers who never have anything good to say about popular music. So here we have placed those artists who have achieved multi-platinum sales, albums with more than 2 million sold.

There are 58 artists that have sold albums that crossed the 10 million unit mark in U.$. sales. Of those we can recommend Bob Marley of reggae and Rastafarian fame, without much reservation. Our reviewer MC59 said that Metallica was all criticism and no suggestions, but looking at the other 56 artists, it seems that Metallica has to go on the list.

"Public Enemy" never made it to multi-platinum, but it did sell albums over the one million mark. It was one of the original rap acts that hit it big.

Notably excluded are any wimmin artists. It appears the promoters and public will not buy into any major wimmin acts that voice harsh criticism and politics, probably for fear of a "bitchy" image. Although wimmin have their share of divas making big bucks, they do so clinging to the tried formula of singing "I-love-my-boyfriend" songs or other songs not really helpful to our efforts at social change.

If you think we missed a platinum artist who was radical, let us know. We know there were many artists with one or two good progressive songs, but don't let us miss any consistent platinum artists for this list.
