[1]mim3@mim.org replies: Then you have been suckered by Tani's preening along with the rest of the intellectuals with a class interest in Bogdanov's line. Bodganov's philosophy when it departs from previous Marxism has nothing to do with how the physical world works. It is strictly an issue of neo-Kantianism. For Bogdanov there is no truth apart from humyn experience. It's really galling to read B. back this up when B. used to be so against anthro-centrism. Once again, where did it go? What about the other animals that existed before us? Creationism and neo-Kantianism would be very difficult to tell apart. The only difference might be that earth's history is lengthened from 4000 years to a few million years--still far short of the actual truth. Tani's stuff on physics and MEC could have been lifted right out of a New Age tract on why there is a god. When I find the reference, I'll show it to you. Oh, I can see it now. Tani will come back and say she was being "Socratic," not contradictory. It's pointless arguing. Maybe this is what B. means by Tani having no ego--being willing to contradict herself from minute to minute. That's why we should focus on the web sites and involving more people.
