Korea deal founders on "Patriot Act"

The New York Times reported openly on May 30 that the United $tates could not find anyone to transfer $25 million in money to northern Korea as part of a nuclear weapons deal designed to shut down a northern Korean reactor. The stalling this past six weeks represents the victory of the Treasury Department over the State Department. April 14 was the deadline that the diplomats had agreed on for completion of the deal.

The New York Times says the State Department asked Wachovia to get on it, but Wachovia cited legal difficulties. The "Patriot Act" gives the united $tates unilateral legal authority to attack any bank in the international system for things that U.$. banks also do.

This is just one more reason to pitch the "Patriot Act." The "Patriot Act" has given white nationalist law enforcement agents the illusion that Amerikans are more law-abiding than other peoples, as if there would be any Amerikan banks in business at all if all those with dealings with drug-dealers or other smugglers had to close.

No, MIM does not have special insight into the mind of northern Korean leader Kim. Nonetheless, we thank the patriots in northern Korea for bringing the "Patriot Act" to the attention of even the New York Times. Every story in a bourgeois paper about the "Patriot Act" aids our struggle here inside u.$. borders. The migrant workers face the same problem with the Amerikkkan white nationalists who falsely believe that whites have lower drug-dealing rates than incoming Mexican migrants.

We also take this opportunity to ask Kim to take up Mao's theory of "continuous revolution" and the teachings of the Cultural Revolution. The ideology of the Korean patriots is similar to that of early Mao before the Great Leap. If the Korean patriots do not want a Cultural Revolution at this time, the reason should be that Korea is still at a stage of new democratic development because of the reunification problem. Kim should still support Mao's theory of "continuous revolution" for all countries that reach the socialist stage, because we still need a global leader for the Maoist cause.

Meanwhile, in other Korea news, Bush has again referred to southern Korea as his model for Iraq--a reference to a long-term need for troops. U.$. troops have occupied Korea over 50 years.

Boricuans are occupying Korea and Koreans are in turn occupying Iraq. Then Uncle $am tells Iraqis that Korea is the model anyway. This is globalization--divide-and-conquer. MIM would like to see the Boricuans go back to Boricua and Koreans go back to Korea. This is impossible with lackey regimes in power. For this reason, it has to be admitted that Kim is a patriot.
