Our warmest congratulations on the occasion of the 82th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. This Great Revolution, besides transforming the face of our country, gave a tremendous impetus to the struggles of the working class worldwide. Mao and the Chinese achievements on the socialist road are no less a result of the 1917 Russian Revolution than the Soviet experience of Lenin and Stalin.
On North American soil, the Great October Socialist Revolution stimulated the formation of the Communist Party that for some decades lead genuine proletarian struggles in your country. The names of John Reed, Albert Rhys Williams, William Z. Foster are fondly remembered by any true Communist in Russia and worldwide.
