W.E.B. Du Bois: Remembering the Great Trailblazer W.E.B. Du Bois was a pioneering Black leader, Pan-Africanist and communist. His insights regarding the "color line" and the material roots of chauvinism in imperialist-country labor aristocracies presaged MIM's. These insights have taken on more importance over the years since his death, and now form an important dividing line between those who wish to have done with imperialism once and for all, and those who would cover up the super-exploitation of the oppressed nations. In this issue we call on all interested organizations to sign a statement supporting W.E.B. Du Bois' correct and momentous legacy. We also print a review of two recent books on Du Bois.
