Almighty Latin King/Queen Nation signs Du Bois "Call" Dear MIM, Revolutionary Greetings! In response to W.E.B. Du Bois' legacy, I offer the following statement, on behalf of the Latin King Political Prisoners/ALKQN: We were truly upset at the fact that during MIM's search for signatories, "Internal Affairs" within this pri$on's jurisdiction, decided to play their usual role of disruption with our correspondence, thus having prevented us from adding our individual names during this just call. The ALKQN-NJS/Latin King Political Prisoners (individually), send our apologies & devout solidarity with all signatories, commemorating this great historical figure (W.E.B. Du Bois), & his contributions in understanding the role of white working class, it's economical significance & the racial inequalities found within the u.$. (among many other great contributions). Because of reasons beyond our control (our predicament within the kage), we were not able to submit our signatures, yet we strongly urge MIM to print them anyway, that our stand be made clear & that this incident be also looked at as a sign of deterence, by the pr$oncrats who continue to employ various tactics in attempt to prevent us from uniting on such issues. We hereby sign individually, in solidarity & in full agreement, that imperialism must be overthrown & a United Front maintained in seeing this through! "BEHOLD KING LOVE!" Signed, King Universal, King Pride, King Azteca, King Boogie, King Justicia, King Kool-Aid, King Vanguard, King Izm, King Pun, King Luminous, King Arch-Angel, King B-Ski, King Voltron, King O. , King Chosen, King Special, King Bear, King Hec-1, King Tek, King Q. , King Alma, King Chill, King Q/BA, King Santo, King Eternal, King Reborn ITAL Write to MIM for the text of the "call" or get it on- line at LNKME. END Texas needs revolution -- count me in! Hello comrades! I have finally regained my freedom after 17 months of incarceration within the juvenile prison system of Texas. I have contacted you many times and received a letter from a "Comrade X" while I was in there. I was in there on the charge of having the components of an explosive device with the intent to use in a criminal endeavor. This endeavor was the bombing of a Nazi group in my town of [X]. We were in planning stages and I was caught with the plans. I now realize my mistake. I gave the fascist authorities in Texas an excuse to incarcerate me and destroy my organizing efforts in central Texas. I would like to know what I should do to begin an MIM chapter in [X]. It's an extremely vulnerable target if only we put in the work to organize. I have the will and desire if you will instruct me and send me proper supplies, (fliers, banners, signs, copies of MIM Notes) I will be willing to fund all that I can. I currently work at a part-time job, but will donate all that I can if you will begin instructing me in what to do. Well, the revolution needs you so I will let you go. Please respond. Texas needs revolutionary socialism! IN CONTINUOUS STRUGGLE, -- Supporter in Texas April 2001 MIM responds: MIM Notes is often censored by prison authorities because it "promotes violence" and is a "threat to security." This letter is another example to the contrary. Prison administrators should drop the pretense that MIM Notes is a "threat to security" and stop censoring the newspaper. At least they should admit that they are censoring the newspaper because of its political content -- which is against their own regulations. We are always glad to hear from our incarcerated comrades when they get out. This comrade provides an example for what to do -- for starters drop us a line and let us know where we can send newspapers to be distributed.
