This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

MIM Theory #9
Psychology and Imperialism

MIM explores the state of the mental health establishment, as well as needed revolutionary alternatives. In this issue of MIM Theory, looking at the Chinese practice, our own developing experience, and learning from various critiques of mainstream psychology, we begin to find the answers to get people up and active in the revolutionary struggle, and to develop the theory we need to deal with psychology and mental health as they extend into a future socialist era. Also included are the "Disavowing Suicide: Testimonial of a Woman Revolutionary" on how she went from being suicidal to revolutionary, articles on drugs, child abuse, prisons and self-transformation, state psychiatry, therapy and follow-up on the anarchism question of the previous MIM Theory. (92 pp.)
