Internet search engines are more useful to MIM web site users than ever before. Researchers using Netscape or Internet Explorer can click on the "search" icon on their browser tool bars.

No sooner did I endorse Google than it bought my-deja.com and destroyed it, thereby wrecking a number of links to Usenet on MIM web pages. No doubt many users are furious at what Google has wrought.

This is a good advanced search engine, similar to Google. Don't forget to specify "etext.org" as the domain you are searching and put in the word "MIM" as one of the required words. Try the advanced search here. Conclusion

Fortunately MIM did not rely much on my-deja.com's tempting capabilities. Monopoly capital has a way of destroying the input of the people. Currently, the flow of conversation in my-deja.com entries is difficult to follow. However, if one wants to search the Usenet, my-deja.com is still one way to do it.

The destruction that Google has brought to the Usenet is proof why MIM works to build the independent institutions of the oppressed.
