This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Gender resolutions

5. The party line on women and careers is that pseudo-feminism being atheoretical and based in unproletarian social groups tries to have things both ways. On the one hand, there will be doubt that women should be full-time party leaders if it means that men become breadwinners. On the other hand, pseudo-feminists will be the first to criticize when the Revolution comes to power and women aren't half of the party leaders, including half of the most experienced leaders with the greatest knowledge of power.

Accordingly, MIM counsels that those women who fail to take up full-time positions may do so out of concerns for the career and gender issue, but they must then be required by the party to take personal responsibility to defend the party and the revolution each and every time the issue arises that its leadership is not of a higher proportion biological female.

In any case, in imperialist North Amerika we are talking about women taking up parasitic careers and there is no honor greater than full-time revolutionary work, so we do everything possible to make such work possible for as many women as possible.

Change "if it means that men will be the bread-winners" to "if it means that they lose their financial autonomy which is a focus of bourgeois feminism."
