This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

1995 MIM Congress

Relations with Non-Party Activists

26. 1. The term "MA" will be for internal MIM use only from here on in. It will be for people who pass the security requirements and have the interest in not opposing our cardinals in order to join an internal study group only.

People who do writing of articles or any other theoretical or non-theoretical practice outside of internal study group will have another designation or possibly no designation just as many people who write to the party have no designation.

2. The term "RM" will fill for RAIL members. As stated in other literature, this term will continue to refer to people who follow MIM leadership, but who do not necessarily have a commitment of any sort.

3. MSG members will have higher commitments than RAIL members as already described. We will encourage them to be more covert.

4. Unaffiliated masses may continue to take up work with MIM. They do not accept MIM leadership and are not really study- group material.

In this category there may be people who belong to a united front with us, including the most difficult case of parts of classes that are ordinarily considered enemy.

MIM publications will cease use of the term "MA," and instead break down the group of people previously referred to as "MA"s into a) true MAs, whose only official connection to us is study group, b) RMs who undertake at least some struggle with the masses and under MIM leadership, c) MSGers who the editors may decide if their MSG or RM pseudonyms should be used and d) unaffiliated masses.

41. RAIL members will be referred to as "RC"s, or RAIL Comrades.
