This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.
Maoist Internationalist Movement

Dengists

Here we review the u.$.-based groups mixed up about Deng Xiaoping in China. Deng Xiaoping was one of the top targets of the Cultural Revolution as a capitalist-roader, but he came to power after the death of Mao anyway and did much of the work to restore capitalism.

League of Revolutionary Struggle (defunct)

Self-Description: Sees China as socialist. Scattered theoretically: Upholds Three Worlds Theory. Supported Mondale and Democrats in 1984. Don't describe self as socialist in paper.

Comments: Hard-working opportunists. Worked in anti-draft group for two years without revealing identity. Members may be honest, but group ranks high on shit-list. LRS split into the Socialist Organizing Network (SON) and Unity. SON merged with FRSO to form FRSO/SON. Current respective status of SON and Unity unknown. See explanation published in 1980 for why Amiri Baraka merged with LRS

"Communist Party of China"

People's Daily in English

Self-Description: "Upholds Marxism-Leninism Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory." Headed by Jiang Zemin as of 2002, the "Communist Party of China" no longer upholds the Cultural Revolution or the Great Leap in China.
