New prisons hold parolees for life

Coming up on the November election will be a proposition called "Jessica's Law." This is another attempt to make more life sentences and put more people in mental hospitals for life if they ever parole. It will require more prisons to be built and increase the prison population even more, plus it will require building more of these hospitals. They have in the plans for another of these hospitals at Corcoran and at the prison in San Diego. What people don't realize is that these are just prisons with a fancy name. They are on prison grounds, with two 20 foot fences around them, miles of razor wire and patrolled by armed CDC guards. In the new budget they are asking for $200,000 per inmate as compared to $27,000 for prison inmates.
