This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.
Signatory list for call to disband the RIM

Signatory list for the call to disband the RIM

Originally posted October 5, 2006

The list of signatories for the call to disband the RIM is growing.

The original cell of the Maoist Internationalist Movement of course is a signatory.

The IRTR endorsed the call to disband the RIM as soon as we put in on the web page.

The New Africa Peoples Study Society operating in South Africa has been distributing MIM and African materials for some years. It hopes to find young new political leaders to build toward a Maoist Pan-Africanist party. On October 4th, New Africa People's Study Society wrote in to MIM to endorse the call to disband the RIM.

The Maoist Internationalist Party-Kanada wrote its own statement on the topic of Iran.

Comrade Oz in Au$tralia also wrote in his stand on Iran. Comrade Oz is currently negotiating with people to see if a Maoist party in Au$tralia can be formed.

Communist Party of Pakistan(Stalinist-Maoist)--" I acknowledge and fully endorse your point of view and sign the following statement on behalf of my party. Our party will fight side by side with you. We hold 100% same views, and we are one. Thanks Irfan Saeed Chairman Communist Party Pakistan."

Comrade Mousnonya wrote in to endorse the call to disband the RIM. He is a non-party activist proving that non-party people can be MIM Ministers. Mousnonya is the Minister of Art working on a new web page.

The Rural People's Party cell wrote in:
"The Rural People's Party (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist) stands in solidarity with the Maoist Internationalist Movement in condemnation of and call to disband the RIM. RPP wishes to express our solidarity by endorsing the MIM suggested statement on RIM and Iran contained in the "Web Ministry update: Call for petition signatures to dissolve the RIM" as a co-signer."

All Power to the Internationalist Proletariat!

Please add RAIIN as a signatory to abolish the Fourth International otherwise known as RIM. Also note that RAIIN rejects any "third path" between the interest of imperialism and oppressed nations in relation to Iran and possible U.S. aggression. RAIIN confidently stands by all Iranians who denounce U.S. Imperialism as the devil it is and likewise calls out any Iranian fence riders as being stooges for the CIA.

The call goes as following:
We call for the disbanding of the RIM (Revolutionary Internationalist Movement).

"Some of us believe we are in the era of Mao and uphold Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. Others of us believe we are still in the era of Lenin. Regardless, we the undersigned are all sure that Mao did not deserve the fate of being associated with the RIM's strategy of defeatism in Iran. In hundreds of struggles Mao supported both materially and politically, he never once called for an oppressed nation to be defeated by U.S. imperialism. The stand for the defeat of Iran by U.S. imperialism can only be that of imperialist infiltrators in our movement, not the stand of a real follower of Mao. RIM has had adequate time to correct itself on this score and it has proved unable to do so at a time when the whole world has eyes on Iran and the Middle East in its struggle against U.S. imperialism. We simply cannot afford more time lost on this. There must be a staunch example in the imperialist countries opposing imperialist war and a staunch example in all oppressed nations that U.S. imperialism should be defeated.

"Stalin and Mao both favored the dissolution of the Comintern and the RIM never had a reason for re-creating an international center. Organizations should sign joint statements, but all organizations should retain their strategic and tactical decision-making abilities.

"The RIM has an history of forming principally out of the United States as Comrade Gonzalo of the PCP himself said. Before his arrest, Gonzalo was undertaking a struggle against U.S.-based "hegemonism" in the RIM. With the events of 2006, it is time for all genuine followers of Mao to acknowledge that RIM is beyond repair."
