So what do we mean by "agitation"? MIM's principal tasks in the imperialist countries today are to build public opinion for the just struggles of the oppressed, and to build independent institutions of the oppressed to seize state power. As we pursue these tasks we must remain true to the principles of anti- imperialism and anti-militarism that must guide all revolutionary politics within imperialist borders. So we must shake up public opinion, stir up political consciousness, agitate for social change and the end of oppression.
So have a look around and come back often. This page will lead you to detailed information and analysis of MIM's current and ongoing political campaigns, MIM positions on current events, and past efforts. If you are looking to get active with the MIM-led united front, you should pick up some ideas here, and get in touch. If you are looking for some coverage you don't see, send us mail. Maybe this is work in progress, or maybe it's something we could really use your help with.
End the Imperialist Deathgrip of Debt! Fall, 1999
Support the Revolution in the Philippines
Our ongoing task is to support the Filipino people's efforts to liberate themselves
from Amerikan domination. Here we reprint and reference the work of the National
Democratic Front of the Philippines and its Communist Party leadership, and publish
our own work to expose the u.$. role in exploiting and dictating policies of the
Filipino neo-colony.
End the Amerikan Lockdown!
Guided by the knowledge that under imperialism all prisoners are political prisoners,
and that the role of prisons in this country is to quell independent activism among
the internal semi-colonies, MIM works to expose and oppose the u.$. criminal INjustice
system. Two MIM-led mass organizations -- United Struggle from Within, and the
Revolutionary Anti-Imperialist League (RAIL) -- work on many aspects of this
continuing campaign.
