As usual, prezidunce bu$h is talking out both sides of his mouth at once. He is claiming that the united $tates does not want a war in Iran(1) and that the united $tates prefers diplomacy.(2) At the same time, however, Bu$h claims he will use force in Iran to make changes.(3) Obviously the very least to happen is threat of force.
As with most liars like Bu$h
we can see right through them just by looking not
at what they say but at what they do. The united
$nake$ are:
* getting up draft boards
*drafting strategy for the coming war in Iraq(4)
*regularly using spy planes to fly into Iran to get
information about Iran and to try to force Iran to
shoot them down to reveal Iran's missile
defences.(5)
*have just updated their war plan for
Iran. (6)
*may have caused an unexplained
explosion near an Iranian nuclear facility.(7)
All these preparations point to one thing: war with Iran. A military draft is in your future. Indeed, a former U.N. weapons inspector is claiming Bush already signed a plan to attack Iran in June. It is quite probable the united $tates already has soldiers in Iran to spy and scout Iranian facilities.
The war in Iraq was justified by lies: Bu$h claimed that Iraq was working on nuclear weapons and had plenty of "weapons of mass destruction" (whatever those are - all the imperialists have chemical and nuclear weapons and even biological weapons). All the claims about Iraqi "weapons of mass destruction" proved to be lies! Just like in Iraq, the u.$. government is lying about Iran. We went down this road before. It has led to a lot of dead people for no reason.
The united $tates is going through another cycle of collaboration in the endless pattern of collaboration and contention in imperialist life. Uncle $am is making an appearance of abandoning unilateralism and is now seeking to get support of its allies for further imperialist wars.(9) For example, the German Schroeder recently said that "The war is now a piece of history... Europe and the US have a common interest in the democratic development and reconstruction of Iraq. As far as I am concerned, I support that." (10) This shows why MIM says NEVER MIND THE DEMOCRATS. Schroeder is a social democrat. If he were ameriklan then he would be a Democrat. He is on the political "left" within the mainstream. This pseudo left voted for World War I --and fueled national-socialism. It also voted to go to war in Vietnam. If Schroeder had a spine he would continue to tell Bush to fuck off. But, concerned about departing U.S. bases and the money that goes with them, he chooses to suck up. Like all imperialists he is only a liar. The war in Iraq is not over. It continues and may well have only just begun. Again, just looking at the facts will prove who is lying. People are dying in Iraq every day.
When Hitler sought power, he wrote a book called
"Mein Kampf"- "My Battle." Hitler outlined in
clear terms his plan for European conquest and
domination. He followed that plan, as insane as it
was, and it ultimately doomed him. We do not need
to look hard to find the u.s. strategy. It is
clearly stated by the neoconservative PNAC (people
for a new amerikan century) and nearly as insane.
A series of wars in the middle east to secure u.$.
hegemony by bringing democracy to the middle east.
Interestingly, the PNAC blueprint says:
"The process of transformation, even if it brings
revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one,
absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -
like a new Pearl Harbor."(11) September 11, 2001
seems to be just such a catalyzing event. Just as
a catalyst was necessary for u.$. imperialism to
wage the oil wars it needs to survive, Iran has
long been in the crosshairs of the neoconservative
ideologues calling the shots on u.$. foreign
policy: "Over the long term, Iran may well prove
as large a threat to U.S. interests in the Gulf as
Iraq has."(12) This is thanks to oil; though,
they say it is about democracy. Since Iran has
lots of oil, "Iraq is just one battle in a larger
war, bringing down the regime in Iran is the
central act, because Iran is the world's most
dangerous terrorist country." (Michael Ledeen).
Furthermore, the strategists guiding u.s. foreign
policy believe that "On the outcome of the
confrontation with Tehran, more than any other,
rests the future of the Bush Doctrine - and, quite
possibly, the Bush presidency - and prospects for
a safer world," (William Kristol) (13) which is
just a bunch of bullshit. The neoconservatives
claim that "democracy" will only arrive in the
Middle East at gunpoint-- very convenient if you
need to rob someone's oil.
But though the imperialists are as vicious as ever, we should remember: The imperialists are dishonest and dishonorable. The imperialists smile with daggers in their teeth. The imperialists can, and will, betray each other without hesitation in the interest of increased superprofits. Further, the imperialists, especially Japan, France, and the united $tates, are strategically dependent on the Third World for mineral resources, notably oil. The empire is dependent on oil, not just for cars but also for farming (fertilizer, harvesters), plastics, explosives, and heating. Without cheap oil, and lots of it, the empire would grind to a halt. Oil is a non-renewable resource. Oil is a major contradiction within the imperialist camp and defines the relations among the imperialists. Just look at how the u.$. and French empires collided over Iraq and how the united $tates and Russia are fighting over Iran and Central Asia generally(14) to see this. Or look back at the oil embargoes of 1973-1974 and 1979 to see the effects of an oil shortage imposed on u.$. consumption. Less oil means less swill at the trough for the pigs--who will then clamor for blood. The result will be even more errors in the enemy camp.
The imperialists are not only addicted to oil, they are also addicted to bases close to the oil to keep it. The u.$. invasion of Afghanistan is now culminating in permanent u.$. bases in Afghanistan (15) which will surely happen next in Iraq. This is the sort of imperial overextension that MIM maintains is a necessary and inevitable first step to the collapse of the imperialists. The imperialists will exhaust themselves in costly, pointless and interminable wars in the Third World.
The united $tates has essentially purged the C.I.A. of all dissenting voices.(16) Even within the bourgeois individualists own theory, that will lead to increased blindness, and greater inefficiency.
The C.I.A. at least pretended to offer objective independent analysis for the government. However this meant that it could not actively support the weapons of mass destruction lie. The C.I.A. has been effectively outsourced and many of its officers have left the agency. This error will compound the imperialists' mistakes. U.$. "intelligence" is now at about the same level as the Fox "news" entertainment network. This should not lead us to overconfidence, especially at a tactical level, but there is no way that the imperialists will ever use their 10 digit budget for intelligence the way MIM can use its 10 dollar budget.
A sycophant will never tell the truth, and will always tell you what you want to hear. Suckups multiply errors because they will not expose them or admit them. Who will pay, in blood and treasure, for those errors? The Third World, principally. But thanks to the imperialists you or someone you love could die or be maimed in Iraq. Break ranks. Join MIM. Fuck over the imperialists.
