Valerie Plame strikes out

On July 19, a federal court "dismissed a lawsuit filed by former CIA officer Valerie Plame and her husband against Vice President Cheney and other top officials over the Bush administration's disclosure of Plame's name and covert status to the media."(1)

Plame's husband provided information on the bogus justifications for the Iraq War and drew the ire of the White House. The White House attacked by disclosing Valerie Plame's secret agent status, thereby ending her possibilities in one aspect of her career.

With Libby serving no prison time for his conviction, Valerie Plame has now struck out in court. MIM finds this to be a most excellent message for those concerned about executive branch use of declassified information for political use: the courts are useless. There is more truth to monarchy's existence in the united $tates than one might think.

President Bush expressed some regrets about what had happened with the CIA: "'I've often thought about what would have happened had that person come forth and said, "I did it,''' Bush said, despite the fact that Armitage and perhaps the others did just that,"(2) reported the British "Guardian Unlimited."

MIM would say that classification benefits the imperialists most. For the imperialists to step back toward monarchist cronyism is their mistake, because it encourages a declassification party. The proletariat has nothing to lose, so declassification hurts the imperialists more than the proletariat. Classification is the inherent logic of imperialism, because the purpose is to dupe a section of the proletariat that would otherwise figure out the techniques the politicians use to advance their agendas of exploitation.

Bush has declared that he is "moving on" from the Valerie Plame issue. Perhaps this means future flare-ups over declassification.
