I did not come through the prison system when there was much more unity among prisoners. Back then I hear we prisoners had control as far as dealing with what we had coming, no matter what we dealt with. No disrespect between races what so ever. But the CDC officers had their hand in that. They started turning everybody on everybody. So it's nothing but madness in here.
CDC is taking everything now, packages, certain books we can't have. And the cold part is nobody is doing anything. If you disrespect somebody you will get it brought to you, but let a C/O disrespect you, you do nothing. And that's a real bad thing. We won't fight CDC for what they take, but we will fight each other for what we can't get.
I say spread the word to get our packages back and go from there. We have to get together and fight for what's ours. Because if we don't we will lose everything. Then you will want to get together and want to fight for what's yours but by then it will be too late because CDC done took everything you had because we were so busy fighting each other instead of fighting for what we are supposed to have.

MIM replies: We join these prisoners in New York and California in calling for our comrades behind bars to step up and get active organizing against inhuman conditions. Join United Struggle from Within (USW), a MIM-led organization for prisoners, and get involved in organizing and fighting the injustice system.
