Security alert: Ward Churchill decision due

May 24 2007

A minor newspaper has called for a repressive crackdown against Ward Churchill-related activists. It calls on the president to undertake some kind of pre-emptive scheme, while simultaneously admitting that the political problem faced is very widespread, encompassing what it calls "Liberalism," Marxism and others like Ron Paul.

MIM has already reported that Murdoch's New York Post wants Churchill fired still. We also mentioned a Denver Post post-mortem on Churchill that ended up yanked. It goes to show that reactionary forces may not be reconciled to their failure yet; even though even the Post reported that Churchill "dodged" the axe.

If University of Colorado President Hank Brown seeks to fire Ward Churchill in his decision due by the end of the month, we might see a coordinated federal involvement to back Brown. Such has to be the presumption. The logic of this struggle or others like it in the future is that there comes a point where the enemy decides to "take it up a notch."
