On September 5, 2005 the Deputy Directory made some very significant and dangerous changes to the Directors Operational Manual (DOM) concerning the gang and disruptive group section #5207.17.4. In a deliberate attempt to stifle any political organizing within the prison, they labeled "all revolutionary groups" as "disruptive groups.' Thereby criminializing and outlawing them. Anyone caught or thought to belong to a revolutionary group will automatically be placed in solitary confinement until he or she denounces the movement. This new change also allows other outside law enforcement agencies to get involved.
The reason for the late reporting on this new change in the DOM is because it was hidden within the very small print of the "Operational Manual." And not mentioned in any other document. Anyhow, the passing of this new rule doesn't surprise me at all. With the ever expanding of the prison population, it is only going to be a matter of time before we wake up and unite to fight our oppressors. Unfortunately very few of us are politically active at the time. But that should all change once the conditions are finally created. Till then I will continue to try to educate any comrade who wants to listen. We must seek revolution, not reform, and the only true path to revolution is through Maoism-Marxism and Leninism. "Without struggle there can be no progress."
Last but not least, the recent positive steps we had made concerning the gang validation process have all but been taken away. As was expected, these dirty bastards have gone back to their old sways. This past week I was finally validated after two very long years of waiting. However, if you were to look in my case file you wouldn't see any paperwork or mention of this validation because it was illegally processed and they know this. So what's officially stated in my case file as reason for detaining me yet even longer illegally here in the SHU is "security threat" which is a fucking lie! I've been completely disciplinary free for years!
