Calling For A United Front

I really enjoy reading MIM Notes. It assures me that word is spreading and people are starting to focus on the big picture instead of their race politics behind these California prison walls. As an inmate you will see these politics at work. How they affect every person behind these walls. The administration has created a racial profiling system/gang labeling system. Even though you have no gang ties at all you are automatically put into this system.

Upon entrance into the reception center you are asked "what are you" or "who do you ride with," meaning what race are you. You are made to say either Northern Hispanic, Southern Hispanic, Northern Black, Southern Black, Northern white, Southern white, Other, Mexican nationality and so forth. They consider you Hispanic if you are from the U.S. and say you are Northern or Southern depending on your place of residence. But what they don't tell you is that you are being placed in the political arena behind these walls. The Hispanic politics are the most dangerous ones of all due to their strong advanced networks and homes on these mainlines. One claims righteousness over the other and they both battle for a power position in the yard. These movements are practically military in form, with of course political wings, each with their own practice.

What I see they themselves fail to realize is that they preach advancement, demand change yet contradict themselves in almost every way. Sure we all want a united Raza, equality, better educational opportunities and so forth. Yet you are blinded in ways of advancement due to your fascism and foci approach. You abuse your own people and you assault those who choose to make real change for themselves. Yet you preach on to say you only want what's best for the people.

Now administration labels these political movements "gangs" and targets them for violations and infinite SHU placement. The only way out of the SHU is to debrief, parole or die. Yet new policy created by CDC says that after 6 years one may be labeled as a "non active" and returned to the mainline. Now there are those who do not agree with these politics not because they are not revolutionary or politically active but because they realize the Hispanic politics are both contradictory, abusive and oppressive in nature.

Now what action is left to take on these mainlines which are controlled by these 2 major networks. Once you show "rebellion" or "will" to correct their logical line you are considered a threat and assaulted/victimized. In order to go back to a line where these politics are not in place you must tell what little you know about the collectives practices to the "IEI," what's known as the debriefing process. Yet the inmates will now profile you so administration as "PC," protective custody and place you on sensitive needs yards or keep you in SHU depending on your level of status.

What I see being done is Raza abusing Raza while preaching best interest on both sides. Both sides are anti-government (U.S./CDC) yet they are anti-each other as well. What? You don't like him because he's from down South or up North? Quit crying. Practice what you preach. Unite the people, all the people because all the rights and privileges that were sacrificed for back in the 60s and 70s are being taken away little by little. You're letting the past efforts and accomplishments of warrior advocates for prison reform for advancement of the people go in vain as you have lost focus on the CDC as the primary cause of the people's division and oppression. And you refuse to fix it because of pride, chauvinism and for one to get mad at the next for "dropping out." You should read history and know that all these prison movements were brought up by "drop outs." So unite. Advance. Educate. And surpass all obstacles both mental and physical for the people depend on your abilities to lead and promote truth instead of hatred which only sets the prison movements back and strengthens the CDC's grip on their efforts to take away all our rights/privileges that were earned the hard way. Instead of fighting/challenging each other focus attention on CDC.

Time is of the essence and life is at stake. Don't fear change. Accept it to advance progressively. Once solidarity has been established between all Hispanic factions then work can be taken to create solidarity with other race factions thus creating a strong united front. No racism, no abuse or oppression. Bringing awareness to all inmates on all yards. Working hand in hand to accomplish realistic goals to better the conditions we reside in.

If correct political line is not reached then victory of the vanguard will never happen.
