Right now I am in the hole here at the infamous High Desert State Prison because a sergeant and Correctional Officer tried to set me up to get jumped by another prisoner. This prison is the most racist place I've ever been. Today they pulled a Native American out of his cell and took him to the CO's station and they physically beat him up. They have a practice of covering all the doors and windows whenever they are cell extracting inmates so the rest of the population can't see and be a witness to whatever they do. I believe they should not be able to cover our windows and doors just for the purpose of keeping us from seeing what they are doing. No other prison I have been to does that. The only reasonable explanation for them doing that is to keep us from witnessing what tactics they use against prisoners such as excess force. This practice really needs to be investigated and put an end to.
