This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Maoist Internationalist Movement

Some rude questions about struggle in Islamic countries

International Minister, March 27 2006

MIM sees imperialist troops occupying Palestine, parts of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet somehow, we find Arab and other Middle East and Central Asian supposed Marxists wishing for a ride to power on the back of a U.$. tank.

MIM does not have much time for those who do not see u.$. imperialism as the principal enemy. Still we would like to hear some explanations from people who are friendly to Stalin and Mao or the governments of the concerned countries.

What is the problem? Our question to the Syrian government: we have heard that you imprison communists. Why not allow pro-Stalin communists to organize in Iraq or the Golan Heights?

Then what about Iran? Can comrades friendly to Stalin and Mao serve no useful purpose in Afghanistan or Iraq?

If anyone can offer any explanations for this either from the governments' side or the communists', MIM would like to be enlightened. Surely releasing Trotskyists from Syrian or Iranian prison to work in the Pentagon or Brezhnevites to go join Amerika's occupation regime in Iraq could be questionable, but are we sure that all the people in prison are really worthless to the struggle?

Any comrade seeking Syrian, Iranian or other government help to organize against imperialist occupiers has MIM's support. We will expose any government not doing enough, once we have the details.
