First off I want to thank you for keeping me on track and well aware of the revolutionary struggle going on around me within and outside of these walls and also please excuse my absence it’s been a constant battle for me up in here having to deal with these K9 and conter-revolutionary rules. But the struggle never ceases. A lot of us political prisoners that are under lock and key come from low-middle class or lumpen proletariat class brackets. And its behind these concrete and steel walls where you’ll find your most revolutionary potential and revolutionary energy to be the most explosive because the politikal prisoners that are under lock and key are not blinded by this capitalist ‘Amerikkkan dream.’ We don’t want no share of the bitter sweet Amerikkkan Pie, this does not fulfill our hunger! No, only cold, odious, bold, and aggressive ‘revolution’ will fulfill our hunger.
History has shown the lumpen proletariat-low class to be the most eager active revolutionaries. When the revolution unfolds the most combustive revolutionary energy will ventilate from behind the concentration kamp walls. Many revolutionaries of tomorrow will be the ones that the US government war machine manufactures and oppresses under lock and key. I, just as the rest of our truly revolutionary committed comrades, are using this time to sharpen our bodies and minds, for our spirits and hearts are already righteously molded.
This massive construction of US gulags are already backfiring on its makers. The public is becoming more aware of these corrupt and pernicious types of confinement, the people are beginning to wake up to the capitalist venues and schemes that are unfolding prisons, county jails and anything dealing with ‘corrections’ are overcrowding and not necessarily because people are becoming more violent. No, but because the primary thing these so-called ‘correctional institutions’ are trying to ‘correct’ are the pockets of these capitalist swine (private investors and government financers) you can begin to fathom how much it angers me to know they’re getting rich paying their children’s college funds, medical bills, etc., off my misery. What type of person can go home to their wives and children unaffected by the pain, anguish, misery of prison life, and can be content and sleep perfectly at night, without wondering about the prisoner his/her fellow k9 buddy beat up to a bloody mess or the prisoner that his buddy in the guntower executed without hesitation? Or the prisoners mistreated by C/Os everyday. I often wonder does it take some psychological adjusting to work in hellholes such as this? It has to, or maybe again it takes one of sadistic nature.
I’ve seen C/Os that have mentally broken down and lost it, I’ve seen C/Os eat what inmates (prisoners) eat out of the cafeteria (mess hall) run game, use prisoner jargon, I’ve seen C/Os basically become institutionalized, enact violence upon us for no reason at all. I’ve heard cases where C/Os see psychologists regularly to get their heads examined! These US gulags destroy people especially if you’re mentally incapable of sustaining the strain.
You know the cases that come in here are getting grossly inappropriate time for less serious crimes (for example, I’m doing 7 years with 85% for allegedly spitting on a court bailiff in Long Beach) but most cats I run into now aren’t really violent cases. The majority are related to ‘property’ crimes and economic poverty crimes that should tell us about this rumpus room ‘democracy’! But nevertheless, comrades, we stand strong and knowing that we have outside support like MIM keeps our struggle alive and well.
Right now I’m currently in ‘Ad-Seg’ I’m being held in lock-up under further ‘captivity’ due to administrative allegations of me being a ‘threat to the safety and security’ of the institution and a threat to the other prisoners. Not too long ago a riot jumped off between southern Hispanics and black prisoners. Majority of the blacks involved the institution stated to be CRIPS. So the swine marks it down to be a southern Hispanic vs. CRIP thing. But anyway I guess after the riot come brothers that were said not to have participated in black defense post during the activity ended up rolling themselves up (going to the K9 for protection) about 7 cants went to PC. Well, they supposedly mentioned me and two other brothers’ names saying we rolled them up off the mainline.
The trippy part when we saw the cats that ‘rolled up’ they claimed to have never mentioned our names to the K9, who knows?! Well, since I’m listed down as being affiliated with a CRIP organization these K9 have now labeled me as being the leader of the CRIPs within this institutions, saying that I’m responsible for all the unrest taking place within my living area and the institution. So I’m being held in Ad-Seg pending 90 day investigation until these K9 figure out what they’re going to do to me, they mentioned something about transferring me when I went to committee hearing. But I’ll keep you guys posted.
One of my comrades looked out from me and a stamp to write you, I received the July/Aug 2005 issues of MIM Notes also, thank you, and also the three back issues of MIM notes (Asante) for keeping me on track, I’m not really allowed to have much in here only the things I happened to accumulate while in Ad-Seg. So I study and dissect my MIM notes and go to yard 3 times a week and have a PE discussion with a small group of comrades. I sent a couple comrades your address, they already sent their letters out.
Also I was meaning to ask you, why is it that your MIM notes don’t mention anything about Black August? This is a month where many of us Black-Afrikan revolutionaries celebrate our fallen comrades and resistance against US imperialism?
