This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Maoist Internationalist Movement

Note from the Chair:

Attention spies

June 6 2007

Your value to us grows less by the day, because once the regents vote for punishing Ward Churchill, your possible public opinion value to us will be much less. The wrong vote by the regents increases the likelihood that you will be deposed in court.

MIM is here offering you a deal. Get into the press (defined as any one of the following: Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post or Associated Press) before the regents' vote and admit the following; 1) You made or witnessed federal death threats that could have negatively influenced the outcome of the Ward Churchill case. 2) Those death threats came in a context of appearing to be a MIM supporter; other death threats came with the intention of inflaming MIM against a target that (unknown to MIM at the time) could have influenced the Ward Churchill case. 3) Ward Churchill supporters of the Maoist Internationalist Movement (MIM) did not reply to the provocations of any violent kind despite their coming from multiple sources. In fact, MIM quashed them.

In return, MIM will not turn over a list of people to depose to Ward Churchill and MIM will not sue and will not authorize discussion of itself. MIM will agree not to create any more scoops in connection to the Ward Churchill case and will restrict itself to re-reporting what others have said.

If acted on before the regents vote, this deal will remain good even if the regents vote to punish Ward Churchill. However, once the regents vote, we will have no choice but to turn over the whole list of names to David Lane. So far we have only started discussion of two people to get your attention.

As you know, over many years, we have never sued you once or even specifically complained about your death threats against us. We think more like journalists along that line. However, you geniuses mixed together a number of issues and by now some of you have figured out it is not just "racist CIA asswipe," but "which racist CIA asswipe." MIM is prepared to return to its past policy.

And what have you done but provoke us here at MIM? You have doubted our credibility and called us crazy, which is fine in the public opinion world. In the legal world where does that go? Does it not mean we have to prove our credibility in court by exposing as many people as possible? Is this not how we will build our authority and assist Ward Churchill? So we talk about a few networks of death threat makers, including the colleagues of the people involved and those feds who also witnessed the threats. It adds up very quickly. Once the list is gone through, don't be surprised if David Lane puts together how to lead it to where MIM has said it goes before. It would be hard to name a repressive arm of the government that this does not lead to.

Ward Churchill and David Lane are no slouches. They are going to do what they have to do, but it does not have to include a drawn-out investigation into what MIM knows. Let's settle the MIM-related part now and get out of the way. In our opinion, the list of names (last known addresses, physical appearances when available) we make available will be of value to the Iranian government, because everyone knows why MIM would have to supplement the work David Lane already has planned.

Our advice would be as following: some agents have already indicated that they are on board with us but have yet to prove it. If so, they should work on getting out the leak independently of superiors. It does not take a genius to see where this is all heading. In fact, had not somebody, probably mid-level bureaucrats, been pennywise and pound-foolish, MIM would not have had to say anything about Ward Churchill in recent months. You left us in a tangle where our obligation is very high. Do not wait till the last minute, because it takes time for our bourgeois counterparts in the entertainment media to figure out what you are talking about.
