This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Indian leader Ganapathy opposes anti-Islamic chauvinism

May 27 2007

According to the India Times of May 15, the leader of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) Ganapathy has taken a stand on anti- Islamic chauvinism. Specifically opposing the Samuel P. Huntington clash of civilizations propaganda, Ganapathy pointed out that Islam will not be gone until after imperialism is gone, so that points to certain logical conclusions.(1)

Ganapathy is correct on this point, because Stalin and Mao also did not succeed in eliminating religion. Hence, to argue that we are going to abolish Islam while there are no socialist countries yet is clearly ludicrous. What it boils down to in practice is that CIA lackeys with their "third force"(2) propaganda claim to want to oppose both the Islamic proletariat and the imperialists. It is the stand of the petty-bourgeoisie designed to confuse our exploited and oppressed people.

The same Trotskyists and other CIA pawns who want "neither imperialism nor Islam" never said the same thing about Christianity before the current post-9/11 furor. There was never anyone saying "neither imperialism nor Christianity," and that points to the partial labor aristocracy root of the problem. Christianity has a much higher portion of labor aristocracy than Islam. The fake Marxist parties all angle for the support of better-off classes.

The proletariat and oppressed nations have always fought as people with false consciousness, various pre-scientific conceptions. There has been no historical exception. MIM has no relations with any party whether it calls itself "Maoist" or not that would also ally with the ancient CIA "third force" line. Being able to recognize the "third force" line is a matter of raising the bar for leaders of the international communist movement.

It is especially important that Indian leaders stand against anti-Islamic chauvinism, because of the history of intra-proletarian war involving Pakistan versus India. The exploited and oppressed of India and Pakistan need to keep their fire aimed at the rulers, not each other.

It is possible that the Communist Party of India (Maoist) is the party in the Third World most similar to MIM. The point is speculative, because the party is banned. There is intense jockeying by intelligence agencies to infiltrate the CPI(Maoist) from the West. Currently, the spy-caused confusion is beyond MIM to overcome.

In other South Asia news, the "Dalit Voice" is thinking about closing shop. It appears to angle for support from Pakistan and the "Nation of Islam" in the united $tates. The editor complains of making no headway against Hinduization of the dalit people we call untouchables. He also criticizes the CPI(Maoist) as using dalits as cannon-fodder. However, there does not appear to be another Maoist party for dalits in the works.
