This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Equal Exchange is involved in trying to boost prices for coffee beans from Central and South America, Africa and Asia. Although Equal Exchange is a growing business, it has adopted a policy of having a maximum wage for its business members in order to pass on gains to the coffee farmers. While phony communist and poorly led socialist organizations in the imperialist countries push for $10/hour minimum wages, MIM finds it refreshing that someone is talking about bettering Third World wages while keeping a lid on imperialist wages.
